It would be great if @timid perch could allow us to mark the Need Zones (either color coding or a marker) so that we know which feed zones are "often" vs "rarely". I always forget and it would save me time. If they change, then I can change them in the Toolbox manually. But it would be even more awesome if there was some connection with your game so that it would be automatic - but perhaps this is a "stretch goal"! LOL

That would be awesome! I can't tell you how much time this would save me since I track each herd and sometimes forget what zone is "often"!

Elkcrest Island as well as Cougars will be added to the entirely new and enhanced Toolbox that Nekhebu is currently working on. We may see the new Toolbox by the end of this month. 🤞 If not this month, then perhaps in February.
I have not seen the new toolbox, but from the tidbits of info that Nekhebu as told us in the chat - it's going to be amazing! LiquidFire I believe, has seen it and he said that it's going to knock our socks off with the enhancements that we will see! I believe him! I made a few suggestions recently that I believe Nekhebu is adding in which is going to make this toolbox sick! I can't wait! 🙂

Everything that Joe said is correct. I'm plugging away with the new toolbox and things are going well. Just as usual, real life and time are unfortunate factors but I'm working on it every day.
I can look into adding cougars to the two old maps (not Elkcrest though as I won't be updating the current toolbox going forward). NRG sent me the data files a week or two ago so I might be able to. It's just that having gotten into the groove of working on the new app it feels like a waste of time to spend time on the old app when the new one should be out in a few weeks.

I wonder why item/weapon descriptions can only be found in Encyclopedia and not in the shop. Very strange and an obvious suggestion for a fix which probably has been raise before. Thanks.

Hi @timid perch ! I am not sure if you have this information from WOTH, but in addition to the table that lists the bullet energy in Joules in your Toolbox, it would be great if we could also list the accuracy of the rifle in the Toolbox as a rifle data attribute. The place that I go to to get this info currently is @opaque mist 's WOTH shared spreadsheet. It is not currently in the WOTH Encyclopedia nor is it in the current version of your Toolbox. For me, accuracy of the rifle is extremely important and I will use a less powerful Tier rifle if it is more accurate. It would be great if we could compare the accuracy of the in-game rifles. Thanks!

Hi Nekhebu! Here is another request if you can get the rifle accuracy data attribute from WOTH. It would further be awesome that in addition to displaying the accuracy of the rifle, that you would display the range of accuracies for that particular rifle tier so that in addition to giving the rifle accuracy for this particular rifle, you also will see where on the rifle accuracy spectrum that accuracy falls for that rifle tier. That way you will know where this rifle's accuracy falls - i.e. if this rifle is the most accurate, middle of the road, least accurate, etc.

All depends on what data is available in the game. There could be some numbers that I might've seen but that are used in complex formulas (of which they seem to have plenty) and just by looking at those numbers it wouldn't be clear what their purpose is (if that makes sense). Each ammo entry has loads of various attributes - I've found a way to use some of them to calculate some ballistics but without actually knowing how everything else is used I could only guess.

Probably not as the new app is very close to being finished. Have a few features left to add (might cut some before launch) so not too keen on spending time on the old app when the new one should be out in a bit.

It's looking good. I have two relatively small features left to add as well as some missing translations and we should be good to go. I reckon a couple weeks or so. Will cut a few features I wanted to get in for launch, but will add them after the fact.

3D Maps - All 7 reserves in full 3D with real terrain and elevation. 2D mode still there if you prefer it.
Cloud Sync - Sign in and your data follows you across devices. Discord, Twitch, GitHub, Microsoft, Slack, X, or email.
Herd Tracking - Track individual animals per territory with age, stars, lifecycle history, notes, comments, and in-game timestamps. Your best male's rating shows right on the map.
Ammunition - New section with ballistic stats, trajectory charts, and recommended animals.
Search & Filters - Search everything including your own notes. Filters on every page, shareable via URL.
Plus light/dark themes, metric/imperial, 17 languages, and a whole lot more.

It is indeed out and has all the ammo plus the new map so you should be covered. I'll be adding a banner and notice to the old app today about the new app as I suspect not many know about the release.

@timid perch I was going through the Matariki park missions, and found a group of Sambar deer that ARE recorded in the old toolbox but NOT copied to your new website - location "782, 721" on the old toolbox; this herd is the one here in-between the Guo Dam and the Grassland Cabin.

The data in the new toolbox is straight out of the game files so could be that they've removed some herds or that the old toolbox had herds that shouldn't have been shown (e.g. mission ones)

That is definitely a mission-specific herd (sambar deer with black antlers), though if I remember correctly they stick around even after the mission is over. They just never age.

Will there also be a table in the new toolbox listing all animal species and weapons, so you can immediately see at a glance which weapon is suitable for which animal and vice versa? I found that table very clear and helpful.
