I will combine 2 Suggestions in this thread: Dymanic Weather and it's effect on Game Mechanics.

The Weather should chance dynamically and more Naturally.
Having Fog in the morning, Sunny Windstiull Days, Windy Days where the leaves move, sometimed even wind storms. Light Rain, heavy ain and thunderstormy.

Yet all of that should have an effect on things like scent distribution and displacement, balistics maybe even on the Need Zones and the animal behavior itself

Maybe have rain alro effect the Tracking.
Blood Trains and foot prints disappear faster when raining.

I’ve started writing a lengthy feedback post on need zones and animal behaviour and was going to include weather into it but I’d like to share it here.

I would really like to see weather having much more of an effect on animal behaviour and their use of need zones.

High winds or heavy rain would keep animals sheltered for longer, they would prefer to stay in their rest zones under cover rather than exposed out in the open.

Light rains and heavy fog on the other hand would keep animals out in the open in their feed zones for longer due to the extra layer of cover the weather provides.

Hot sunny days would keep animals in the shade, feeding early in the mornings and late in the evenings.

And cold weather may drive them into areas sheltered from cold winds, but where they still have good access to feed.

Weather can have a huge impact on animal behaviour and can differ greatly species to species. I really think this should be reflected in-game as it would break up the need zone times in a realistic manner so animal behaviour doesn’t feel so scheduled and robotic.

This would also mean the player has to strategise beyond memorising need zone times, and encourage you to adapt to changes in weather and learning animal behaviour to be able to find them in all elements.
