#Use durability instead of firearm accuracy differences in WOTH2

We all know that Remington firearms perform poorly in terms of accuracy in WOTH. Maybe Remington Arms really did mess up the quality of the weapons they produced and the trust in their brand in the end, but the performance of these weapons in the game is just too bad. Listen, I don’t think the game expects us, playing as “professional hunters,” to really spend money to buy and use guns with such poor accuracy that we have to pray the bullets hit the target—that’s terrible. Please, NRG, consider using a durability system instead of an accuracy system to reflect the differences between high-end and low-end brand firearms. For example, Remington guns could start showing accuracy deviation after fifty shots, while Steyr guns can guarantee perfect accuracy for up to five thousand shots. When accuracy deviation occurs, players would need to spend money to maintain their guns. I believe such a system could still satisfy the “big bosses” and return the factors affecting accuracy to the ballistics system rather than the guns themselves.

I think they just made Remington arms less accurate because in recent years, their quality has gone down, so the accuracy isn't as good as higher end brands like Bergara and Styer

Also a cleaning system would be better in my opinion because durability seems like something only really cheap brands would suffer from, I like your idea of accuracy going down after a certain amount of shots, but I would say that maintaining your weapon cleanliness wise would be more realistic

I also believe that in the new game, a whole plethora of new calibers should be available too, like ones that are more jack of all trades for their ethical range kind of rounds. Like 17hmr, 22-250, 25-06, .300 Weatherby, etc. And handloading should be a new feature so you can make more accurate, higher velocity, higher weight, more energy, and/or softer recoiling cartridges, that way you can truly create your perfect wonder round, perfect for exactly what you want.

#

That also leads to my other idea, custom gun builds, that way you can maximize your cartridge's capabilities and make it as accurate and smooth as possible

All of this would be available for archery and shotguns too btw

OK hold on, as someone who owned both a recent made 700 and a 783 I can tell you theres a wild difference in accuracy, usability and stability.

The 783 is made to be a cheap crappy money grab banking on the Remington brand name to sell.

The 700 I have is an extremely accurate rifle out to 500 yards and it could do more if I wasn't against long range shooting. I really don't mind the 783 being inaccurate in the game because the one I had was garbage, couldn't hold zero and even getting the magazine to latch was a pain.

That said, the 700 models we have should be more accurate than the 783 even if they're not as accurate as the Steyr rifles.
