Seen as how popular Remington is within the game, I’d suggest we add a new semi auto rifle to the game that’s quite the old classic: The Remington Model 8. The Model 8 was made from 1905-1935 and its successor, the Model 81 “Woodsman”, was made from 1935 to 1950. The Model 8 was chambered for .25 Remington, .30 Remington , .32 Remington , and .35 Remington. .35 Remington is the only one of these four cartridges that’s still made today. The Model 81 was chambered for all of these along with .300 Savage. If the Model 8 were to be added, I’d ask that it be in .35 Remington and these are the ammo types I’d suggest:
Soft Point: Remington Core Lokt 150 grain Pointed Soft Point; around 2,300 feet per second and 2,400 joules (good for Tier 5)
Hollow Point: Federal Hammer Down 220 grain Bonded Hollow Point; around 2,100 feet per second and 2,500 joules (good for Tier 5)
Polymer Tip: Hornady LEVERevolution 200 grain Flex Tip Expanding; around 2,200 feet per second and 3,000 joules (good for high end Tier 5 and low end Tier 6)
