Deer antler velvet is a natural tissue that all species of deer have, the velvet will grow around their antlers spreading the genetics and nutrients to the base of the antler. After a while the velvet will dry out and the males will scrape their antlers on vegetation like trees. But now the main question you hunters will probably ask me is "what if the deer has a really good set of antlers but it’s in velvet!?" and my answer to that is you can have a choice when taxiderming it where you can have the velvet or not, and let’s say if you accidentally press the wrong button you can still change it how you want it to be or even you got bored with it being hard antlers? I recommend this to not cost in game or IRL money but if it was in game it could be maybe 100-250 in credits? But let’s keep the IRL money talk out of here as we hope it won’t happen.. Alright, to the next point! Potentially even at some stages we could see stags stripping velvet on trees or thick brush and ect, or just being able to see them with velvet dangling from the antlers and showing us the blood. I think this update is a good idea especially since WOTH is based on realism.
