#Headshot Taxidermy Repair

This is going to be a bit controversial, and I may not get support for this, but I will suggest this idea anyway.

As we know, making a headshot on most of the male animals in this game will result in not being able to taxidermy the trophy. This is slightly unrealistic as it is still possible to recover a trophy depending on the damage in real life. That is why I propose the idea of paying extra for a damaged trophy to be repaired. The price would vary from the level of damage and if the trophy is beyond repair the offer will be cancelled. This offer would apply to all male and (Horned/Antlered) female big game species, as females are exempted from the headshot rule that is already in the game.

I am open to hear your thoughts and criticisms.

Yeah the headshot ruining the trophy is kinda dumb imo. If I’m being charged by a Cape buffalo, I’m not thinking about moving to the side and going for a lung shot, I’m going to shoot it between the eyes and drop him.

I mean I agree 100000%.... And if a animal is shot fataly with a gun and than just lightly touched by a vehicle it shouldn't count as road kill... I lost a 5* blue wildebeest this way... And the head shot thing... Yeah I agree.... Isn't like shooting cape buffalo in the head one of the favourable shots? Like why would it ruin the trophy

This is a post I made over a year ago, but randomly remembered, so I’m going to bump it.

i totally agree
the taxidermy shouldnt get ruined, best solution imo would be to make it more pricy to repair it
more ways to spend coins since i think there isnt enough, i collect thousands without much idea what to spend on

# forest bay not for the trophy tho

Nobody thinks twice about shooting a trophy cape buffalo in the head when it's charging, and none thinks twice about taxidermising the buffalo afterwards. It's not ideal but it's not crazy or unusual either

But that still doesn’t answer my question. Why is it not clean?
