The mountain goats ingame feel too similar to other animals in my opinion and don't reflect their real life counterparts very well, especially on Aurora Shores. Some QoL changes that could be made:

-Have them spawn in pairs or small groups like bears/moose instead of giant herds like wildebeest
-Have them able to climb steep cliffs, theHunter Classic did this with ibex
-Get rid of drink zones or move them, mountain goats get almost all of their water from snow
-Move their zones higher up in the mountains in order to fill out the map and change the mountains from the deadzones they currently are

They wont do this. We ve been trying to tell tgem about mountain animals and they dont care.

I was referring to those real steep angles but yeah that is another thing. There are some points where a slope that should be 100% climbable isn’t.

There’s not enough steep ledges to warrant that imo, not even Nez Perce.

most of the time animals slide down slopes so I don't think harvesting would be an issue, and if you don't think you'd be able to reach it when it drops then don't shoot it and wait for it to move to a spot where you can harvest it
