The reason is cpu or memory bottleneck

Just having a RTX card doesn’t mean you can run it in a i3 or i5 processor without bottlenecking

Most of the time if you play games cuda cores wouldn’t matter at all

In 1080p it’s possible for the RTX 4060 laptop gpu to outperform the RTX 4060 desktop version in gaming

In 1440p the desktop version will get more fps as it is more focused to the gpu power

But no one would play in 1440p with a RTX 4060 because it’s a 1080p gpu

Yeah don’t compare the RTX 4070 laptop gpu with the RTX 4070 desktop version because the pc version will get a huge level of fps compare to the mobile gpu version

cuda cores matter the most, vram matters when you run out of memory to store game assets, most cases you wouldnt run out of it

if you run out of memory, game would let you know, in graphics section, the vram isnt enough to fit stuff
