no then dont assume things are automatically hard

(base)arch didnt have installer, you were supposed to install it yourself, (for making it stupidproof)

now even base arch has a installer

that is the only part about arch that was considered hard

no time is required
no additional knowledge is required

cachyos is the most straightforward

it comes with zram, nvidia driver(as needed), aur helper, package installer gui, cachyos-hello(for basic tweaks), and cpu specific optimized repos(as supported by hardware)

do anything, if you want to use blender, edit video and do anything remotely related to ai,
you absolutely need nvedia gpu, else you can do none(none from gpu, it will be only accelerated by cpu, your gpu will be useless for the task)
and for cpu, intel big.little task schedular is coming soon in next major kernel release

soo basically whichever comes to better bang for buck in windows holds same position in linux
be sure to get nvedia gpu for those productivity tasks

well you can have all pop os stuff in cachyos, if you like

the only difference between distros(deb vs fedora vs arch vs nix)
is the way packaging works, that is literally all

everything between distros are cross compatible

(cross compatible as long as versions of packages are compatible with each other, if you install a deb package in arch, you might get some errors, becuz other packages in arch are more upto date, take a program x for example, it relies on binaries of y and z, it cannot work if y and z behave differently(it can if update has breaking changes) )
