Skill based matchmaking would be fun but

  • People join lobby by choice
  • Adding ranked toggles to restrict players outside of ranks would be a feature most would be unhappy with
  • measuring skills is near impossible. Win farming off of an alternate device would become a massive problem
  • Hosts may alter rulesets to allow themselves to win more often
