The key to win in this game mode is to have the most amount of points when the time runs out or when the point quota is achieved
Your zone is a circle of your own color that surrounds you, the more stars you have the bigger it can grow and the more points you'll have, although the rate at which it grows may reduce slightly
Whenever an opponent accesses your radius they enter the "Contested area", whenever they are inside this area they will lose a star if they stay inside for more than 5 seconds
Time accrued by each team mate's zone is independent, this means that the star bar for each of the opponents' zone will only apply to you interacting with that very zone
For instance, if you were inside an opponent's zone for 3 seconds and exit that zone and immediately enter another opponent's zone, the star bar for that other zone will start from zero
If two players find themselves inside each other's zone (Picture the Luigi on the left actually covering the one on the right with their magenta zone whilst still being on the yellow zone) the smaller zone will have greater priority, thus depleting the star bar of the player with the bigger zone
Whenever you exit a zone, the star bar will not instantly reset, it will steadily go back to zero
The star bar will decrease even during invincibility
The bigger your zone is the more points you will have, there will be a point goal for each team, points are accrued amongst team mates, so if your team gets the corresponding amount of points you will win the game
When playing solo , the point goal may only be reached by one player, you will have your own point counter
When regularly attacking other players you will still get a star out of that interaction and their zone will decrease to the corresponding size limit per star count, opposed to removing a star by using your own zone which will completely reset their zone's size
