Also I'm still working on it so it's a bit empty for now

#

If it's repetitive the point is to be simple but I'll work with any recommendations to get it less empty

i think this is a good start but it doesn't seem full. The drums come out of nowhere and it seems off because you don't build tension. Then because you don't have anything else going on in the background while you are building up to the drums it sounds uninteresting.\

the drums are pretty predictable so unless thats how you want them to be then you should rearrange them or add some more

i would suggest the drums coming in a bit faster and personally i would add a kick a 808 or maybe a sub bass

I like to make beats with an accapella that matches the BPM and Key of what im working in. It helps me a ton, but I imagine if you went on youtube and ripped an acceppella to test over this you could fill in the gaps and the Beat will reveal it'self to you. Thats how my brain works at least.

The drums sound like they were recorded on some midi controller and not quantized. considering you said you're still working on it i recommend you quantize the drums

wind chime sounds good, but quantize your snare, add a kick on the downbeat, and add hi hats as eighth notes

the drums feel really awkwardly placed, maybe putting in some variety or a hi hat or something would help id say. adding in some sort tension or build up before stuff could also be nice

The Drums are okay, but i would recommend rearranging them or adding more cool ones to make the beat more better.
