My exports sound like the mix is different or the track is way louder when I play it with windows media player after exporting. Its been happening for years and my friend who's produced for 10+ years says he has the same problem. Usually its not very noticeable so I don't mind but this track I'm working on sounds way louder after export and my mix levels are all out of wack.

This could be so many things. Windows audio settings, difference in volume between FL and WMP, some app adding an eq, issues with your mix/master, etc.
