i have activity on mixer. my audio is set to what it normally is but this particular project wont play sound

If you've confirmed there's audio on the master, look at the master output volume knob

Look at the plugins on the master, and/or confirm mixer channels are being sent to the master.

A quick way to test "is it an effect on my master?" is to click this button, and disable all effects

oh i had one of those fabfilter plugins on and my 30 days free has been and gone
