This is not for studio but i’ve seen it be done in fl studio, how do you bind each piano note to a different sample?

inspired wholly by @VirtualRiot's "death by amen" video, looked super fun to try myself (and decided to reference a classic of his hahaha)

all sound is generated ONLY BY CHOPPING THE BREAK, there is no warping or editing in any other way (apart from velocity). i used some compression on the way out for a little more dynamic control.

You open your sample with something like Slicex

Then slicex will put your chops into a pattern on the piano roll
