Piano roll question

Anyone know how to fix the issue with certain keys in piano roll like bass for example where when putting a sound in piano roll it just plays over itself and continues playing without stopping no matter if you changed the size of the key or not

Or if its a synth set it to monophonic

Or use the amp envelope turn the release to 0
