Clicking-noise when not routing kick directly to the master channel

All of a sudden, kicks get this clicking/popping noise when routing the kicks to a different channel than the master. This isnt a problem in another project i worked on earlier today with the same kicks and the same mixer layout. Does anyone know how to fix this?

(And no, my fl isnt cracked, i just dont want my full name leaked)

• check audio settings
• check if this keeps happening im new projects with the same mixer layout — some projects get hiccups which you can't repair
