"Make unique as sample" is not working, sometimes

That's very strange, I haven't heard of FL refusing due to length. It could be a matter of insufficient ram but from my experience that usually causes crashes or freezes not just a smooth "fakeout". But I've never had overloading ram with make unique, so I don't know, maybe that function acts differently when that happens

Try clicking this on the _1 output

Shows the folder it's outputting to, you can double check that it's not actually making a new sample

Also relatively long shot but worth checking the folder isn't read only
