that's weird, while you're in the link window?

#

i sent u how to open that window in the dms

#

right click it

#

first u need to tweak anything

#

some vol knob

#

open sequencer and play with any volume knob

#

anything tweakable

#

or open mixer

#

anything

#

just move some knob/fader

#

in fl, not on your keylab

#

nice, u tweak any knob and it will disappear

#

that's how you tweak stuff

#

that's weird since FL detects your midi input

#

@woeful lava any idea?

If it detects the knob you wiggled, the boxes should populate, and you'll have to click Accept.

If you tick this box in your MIDI Settings, you should get the instant accept behavior.

#

If FL isn't properly detecting your MIDI knobs when you wiggle them, I would look into the MIDI Script you're running with the device. These scripts can really change the behavior of your controller, and it's hard to say what's happening in the background unless you can open/edit the script.

#

So this script seems to be handling all the MIDI CCs for you, and sending them to specific things.

#

If this is done in the "normal way" the script will "eat" the input, and FL won't see a real MIDI CC message.
You get ready-to-use bindings, without having to set/link anything manually. However, because it's all happening in the script, you can't link the knobs to things as you would on a basic controller.

#

You can probably change the script back to a basic (generic controller) type thing, and then you'll have no integrations, but you'll be able to link the encoders/sliders in the traditional vanilla fashion

#

Yuppers.

#

If you want to see whats linked already, you should see a list of all your linked controls in the browser.

#

That one sucks, but no, you'll need a basic script for that. That's what a lot of the legacy scripts did, basic transport control integration.
I wish that one was easier, but it should be easy enough to get basic script going for that.
