Are you on FL21?

When you record audio, it doesn't overwrite previously recorded audio. Mute the clips or tracks you do not want to hear.

Yeah that behavior is how FL does things

#

If you don't wanna hear clips you've previously recorded on that audio track, you can just mute them with this tool right here

Are you sure you're actually making them Audio Tracks? & what's your process for setting them as such?
