If it's for the first time, It's pretty decent, bass genre's can be really hard to produce You have to really be creative and experiment a lot with sound design.

if you practice you will eventually able to make dubstep,
And speaking of melodic dubstep It's not that superhard, It's just another name of future bass, with some dubstep sample, Initially you don't really need to sound design all those sample by your self, you can find packs of those sample on the internet out there, go experiment with the genre little bit

and when you understand the genre a bit more clearly then you can dig into the sound design stuff..

Don't be sad, take it slow, trust me eventually you'll get it.
