It can be done but I don't think it is safe. I had to have the bed at 100c which is well above PEO's temp rating and it smells horrible doing that. I also had to spread a thin layer of glue on it to get the ASA to stick well enough. I put down a few lines of glue stick then used a lint free rag and water to spread/thin it out over the build plate.
