probably from filament stuck to the outside of the nozzle

I've got a nozzlex coming tomorrow, but I'm curious why there would be burned filament on the outside of the nozzle when I heat it and hit it with a brass brush in between prints

I'm thinking that nylon is just incredibly sticky
