How do i install the CEM differences

so i just recently installed EMF and ETF but i have to realize alot of the stuff i used on optifine isnt avaliable such as removing fog and being able to use fullbright and shaders, i am wondering if getting the optifine differences installed will give me what i am looking for first and foremost, and im also having trouble installing the differences into modrinth. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

how do i upload this to a pre-existing mod pack

@stable stump im trying to use AL's creepers revamped and it says to turn on random entities and emissive textures, any idea how these can be enabled without optifine?
