  • The player would look more scared the lower their health is. They would also appear scared when affected by a Damage Over Time-type effect (e.g. if on fire), however the player's eyelids would droop downwards slightly if inflicted with Poison or Wither instead (the latter two effects also causing the player's limbs to shake slightly, as if feeling weak, Wither moreso.)

  • The player's brows would scowl, mimicking anger, when attacking an entity with either a sword or axe, or when afflicted with Strength.

  • Depending on a player's main hand, when crossbow is raised or bow is drawn, the player occasionally tilts whilst closing the eye opposite their dominant hand (e.g. right handed = left eye closed), as if trying to adjust their (cross)/bow's aim.

  • The player, if on fire, would flail their arms, inspired on some level by Detailed Player Animations.

  • Different attack animations for tools based on what enchants it has/what attack type (knockback, sweeping, critical)?

  • Different levels of 'flinching' when taking damage, based on armor level?

  • When the player is idle, do a sequence of animations. The standard 'sighing' idle can be kept, but there could also be a stretching animation, or also an animation similar to the Minecraft Dungeons Zombie's "sleep" novelty animation, where the player's head would slowly droop down and their eyelids would slowly close, before the player startles themselves awake.
