#Why is my shader doing this??? (Rethinking Voxels r01 Alpha4)

Every so often I'll stumble across a specific point in my world where it looks like a black hole opens or something. It always spreads out from a fixed block. How do I stop this from happening?

#

The first time I came across this I turned off anti-aliasing and it seemed to fix it for a while? But i still have that turned off and it's now happening anyways

#

I've just now switched from voxel RT to accurate raytracing in the settings and that's made the glitch go away at the expense of a lot of frames

#

I don't know if it's something to do with a certain block type even becayse both times i've seen it it seems to just come from a grass block

This isn't anything to do with EMF or ETF

#

Would be better to ask in the relevant Discord (Rethinking Voxels or Iris)

I haven't seen this when using it

Yea I haven't either, but I've seen it in other ones when using specific mods (I forget which ones) so it might be a mod compat thing? I have no clue

It's fine to ask, you just won't get as many experts as their actual discord

It kind of vaguely reminds me of an issue I had when I think I had core shaders? But my memory is fuzzy and I've never been a big shader user

Yeah, shaderLABS, I just mentioned it cuz it's linked on their site

i found out it's triggered by one specific flower in a more flowers mod i have. this flower doesn't seem special in any way whatsoever so i have no idea why lmao but the fix is pretty simple: just destroy them when i see 'em
