I have an LDAP server which is an ever-updating source of organizational structure based on Active Directory. I am planning to periodically sync data from into permify using a scheduled job into some usable schema.
Is there any ready-made tools for such a pipeline or something that might cut me some corners?

We do have webhooks in our cloud product which can streamline the process. In open source we don't have any functionality to ease this process.

To understand better, you don't want to switch from Active directory to permify but use both instead for the authorization right ? If so could you elaborate more on the workflow in your mind?

Thanks for the answer, it resonates with my understanding of the matter. I will be using an on-prem deployed option. The application we are building has a fine-grain rules for communication among its users and user-data should be fetched from Active directory.
