Hi @hoary leaf, you need to store the data that can be needed in the access control check. So in your use case yes, you need to store the information of the "user:x followed the page:y". You can send the "followed" info alongside with the request using the contextual permissions (https://docs.permify.co/operations/contextual-tuples). Its not an alternative for permission database but might solve your "followed" type of permissions.

I'm one of the cofounders at permify, and yes it's prod ready and used by various companies from startups to Fortune 500 companies. But I cant drop names or share details of the metrics in the community.
