Wulfgard has....Like, he is a good sub dps, but I do really wonder how good his sub damage is as compared to laevatain, considering, you are not using combustion on him for his talents, and akekuri can apply heat infliction just fine. The only thing he does a bit better for aoe is the grenade that apply one more heat infliction. But in Boss, I feel like I rather take antal over him and just do a proper rotation for bonker damage

the more you stack the same type of buff on top of each other the lower the gains are relative to prior gains in the same stat. Adding water to a dry glass is a noticable difference but adding water to a full glass is less noticable.

there's also the idea of opportunity cost. If you can add the same amount of water to a full glass or to an empty glass you will notice it more by adding it to the empty glass (increasing a different stat)

in closer to home terms
0>10% dmg% is pretty noticable
100>110% dmg% is less noticeable

if you have 100% dmg% but 0% atk% then you would notice it a lot more to add 10% atk% than add 10% dmg%

this does not mean the stats have diminished returns
