So ive been having problems with this mod for a while, not being able to ever start the game. Tried different versions etc but always crashing.

Never seen this before. At the end I found this:

A crash has been intercepted by the crash handler. For call stack and other details, see the latest crash report generated in:

  • C:/Users/taso/AppData/Local/Temp/The Fun Pimps/7 Days To Die/Crashes

Could you please post this one also?

I have no idea why this happens.
But as you said that you tried different versions, maybe your installation is somehow broken.
Did you already try to do a clean installation of the base game and the mod?

  • delete 7 days in steam and install fresh 1.2
  • download latest AL and install in fresh base game

Starting 7days without AL works?

Yes, but with mods it still displays normal game on steam

Could you post a screenshot from your mods folder?

Looks normal. And after starting the game via ModLauncher you just see the base game?

wow @ that log

#

pretty much crashes as soon as it starts trying to load AL

#

oh its this issue again

#

this is the same one those guys were having weeks ago, where it couldnt patch enums

#

it appears to be a peculiar platform-specific issue that we cant really fix

#

best thing you can do is to wipe and reinstall the latest dotnet runtimes

now that i think about it, recently ive been having problems with my gpu. It would randomly stop working and require me to delete it from the device manager so it would install itself again or something. Hasn't happened in a while, but it could probably be related. Its an RX580 8gb
