Inventory / Escape Menu Freezes | Afterlife | Page 1

Is anyone aware of a bug (maybe not mod/Afterlife specific) where you can no longer interact with your inventory/escape menu? It essentially freezes up and you can go in and out of the inventory and escape menu but can't click on anything. We've had to Alt F4 out of the game.

yeah pretty much whenever you have an error it will make the UI unresponsive

except the console

Should we be checking console for the specific error? Will it show if we hit F1?

well usually if you have an error it force shows the console

We'll try to pay closer attention next time it happens then - of course the last time it happened my partner was in the Bear Den being mauled lol

anyway in top right of console

#

unless ur on an old version

#

we added a button "reload UI"

#

if ui becomes unresponsive just click that

#

your game will lock up for a little bit depending on how fast your CPU is

then it should be fine
