I'm not one to want to remove mechanics like this, but I tried to give spears a good go this run, and the fact that the Prod skill is basically rendered useless because of this stagger forward animation was very frustrating.

told u range is bad with this stagger animation

if u up the range on spear they do it almost everytime

Yeah and they get resistance from pushback it seems. I had many occasions where it didn't even work the enemies kept moving forward despite spamming pushback. They didn't move back even a step

Rabids get sent flying though so that's fun
