Sanlaki Full Stock
-
Price Paid: $98 Shipped to USA from Etsy, OR free .STL + $30 in parts
-
Included accessories: Cosmetic reflex sight, interchangeable orange and black tips
-
Stiffness: 9.5/10 - Construction is made entirely of a combination of FDM printed parts (likely PLA+) and metal pipes. There is little to no room for anything to flex, bend, or twist, but it would feel slightly more sturdy and rugged if the stock were thicker.
-
Ease of Use: 7/10 - Gunstock calibration in GoT makes this a little challenging to line up properly, but using it in game is a breeze. The bottom mounted controllers makes it feel and operate like a real rifle. Getting your controllers seated requires some practice, and you’ll be fumbling around until you get a feel for it. Sling placement needs work, but a one-point sling attached to the rear mount is manageable for people with long arms.
-
Points of Contact: 3 (2 hands + shoulder)
-
Weight: Medium - Other stocks use carbon fiber parts to reduce weight, but this stock uses magnets to attach the controllers to the places the stock is held. It’s not heavy and it’s not uncomfortable, but it wasn’t designed with weight reduction in mind. Dual magnet left hand is notably heavy, borderline excessively so.
-
Experience with stock: While I haven’t had time to spend dozens of hours using it, I noticed an immediate improvement in my aim with rifles in my very first raid. I was instantly able to not only lay effective fire at distances I previously considered out of range, but can also hit precision shots on moving or distant targets. My shaky hands are completely negated by the stock, and the top-heavy feel allows IRL firearms experience to readily transfer into the game. One-handed interactions and dropping/picking up the stock when necessary could definitely use further improvement, and I’d encourage a new user to find a way to block off the metal pipe leading to the stock, as it’s easy to accidentally attach your right hand there.
Sanlaki Sleek Magnetic VR
- Price Paid: $98.29 USD
- Included accessories: Stock, Magnetic ring attachments for controllers, and sling.
- Stiffness: 6/10 (Elaborate: If you pull TOO hard, your controllers will come off, it's kind of a balancing you need to learn to use these effectively)
- Ease of Use: 7/10 (Elaborate: While it helps with aim, it's ease of use can be argued. The occluding the IR lights is an annoyance when it becomes the problem. Other than that issue, it's usable)
- Customer Support: 10/10 (Elaborate: Had no issues with this stock (other than my own inability to get used to it), but Lerrick the owner of Sanlaki is really responsive and helpful when checking for shipping issues)
- Points of Contact: 3/4 (No cheek weld)
- Weight: Heavier than I'd like.
- Experience with stock: This was my first VR gunstock. I had kiwi extended grips that felt good and wanted something that was bottom mounted to the stock so I could keep my kiwi grips that were ergonomic to compliment the stock. Mistake #1 was trusting the tracking on bottom mounted gunstocks, I didn't get really bad tracking, but when it was lost, it was a nightmare of an experience. When the controller batteries start to die, you lose IR light emission power and so this gunstock compounds that issue further by making tracking a nightmare. It was very heavy so added to immersion, but in some games, it's kind of cumbersome.

MrTass QuickAim/Sanlaki Gripstock for Oculus Quest2
- Price Paid: $28.74 USD
- Included accessories: JUST gripstock for dominant hand chosen
- Stiffness: 10/10 (Elaborate: Feels very sturdy & dead simple)
- Ease of Use: 10/10 (Elaborate: Simple, cheap & effective)
- Customer Support: 10/10 (Elaborate: Had no issues with this stock, but Lerrick the owner of Sanlaki is really responsive and helpful when checking for shipping issues)
- Points of Contact: 2/4 (Just hands)
- Experience with stock: Keeps the two hands lined up. Is very effective at that. Mr Tass also has the same style of stock which may be more affordable, check options linked below.
- Weight: Very lightweight and unobtrusive

Sanlaki Pullstock Elite for Quest 2
- Price Paid: $48.74 USD
- Included accessories: JUST pullstock elite for dominant hand chosen
- Stiffness: 10/10 (Elaborate: After you tighten bolts, there is no movement)
- Ease of Use: 4/10 (Elaborate: No front hand support, bit heavy, not useful for most shooters)
- Customer Support: 10/10 (Elaborate: Had no issues with this stock, but Lerrick the owner of Sanlaki is really responsive and helpful when checking for shipping issues)
- Points of Contact: 3/4 (Dominant Hand, shoulder and cheek weld)
- Experience with stock: Meh experience. Very similar to the iStock, which helps to steady the shoulder and cheek, but with the front hand being floaty without a connection, it's very odd to use and feels feature incomplete. This is better than the istock, in that you have the added benefit of having a cheekweld that is adjustable. The length is also adjustable. You could always tie something between wrists for the "pull" string effect for the front hand.
- Weight: Heavy in the dominant hand. Don't prefer that and feels off-putting to me.

3Daptive Modus R
- Price Paid: $100.28 USD
- Included accessories: Stock, sling, and controller cups (replaces battery cover)
- Stiffness: 10/10 (Elaborate: If tightened down, there is little to no movement, can pull stock into shoulder with as much force as desired, won't need to worry about magnets going loose as the controllers are connected by "snap-in" fitment)
- Ease of Use: 9/10 (Elaborate: A TON of adjustable parts and configurations, can be much for some, or it can be the one-stop-shop for all your shooters. You can adjust it so it's just the back end part, or keep things simple and run just one of the cups instead of two cups, it's very nice and configurable. Only 1 point off because it's got TOO many options and can be bad if you misplace parts)
- Customer Support: N/A - Did not contact
- Points of Contact: 4/4
- Weight: Very lightweight. Controller knuckle grips are very nice and work as a simple upgrade for other games outside of shooters as well!
- Experience with stock: The fact that this stock can BECOME whatever configuration you want is huge. The issue I have is that I'm no longer accustomed to running a sling as it can get messy. When I did main this for a whole month, I did enjoy it and got great use out of it. Feels very light and has all the points of contact with infinite customizability. The included knuckle grips are my go-to for use in other VR games outside of shooter games as they are very comfortable - no need to buy a kiwi grip or such. It's my second favorite VR Gunstock and go-to choice for games where I'm playing solo/offline & need something for max immersion/sling usage.

SkolVR Tomahawk
- Price Paid: $181.00 USD
- Included accessories: Just Stock itself
- Stiffness: 10/10 (Elaborate: Very stiff, feels sturdy when utilizing the stock - can pull to shoulder with a lot of force)
- Ease of Use: 3/10 (Elaborate: Initial installation of the little screws can be a pain in the ass. Changing the battery is a whole process that takes the longest of all the gunstock options covered. The non-dominant hand is positioned in an awkward position angled to the side for some reason)
- Customer Support: 5/10 (Elaborate: English isn't his first language, so I'll cut him some slack and instead give him some credit for being super responsive. He's kinda weird though - his answers to my concerns brought up sounded like complaints and long rants that I need to read lengthy replies to. He was helpful when I needed it to install the screw and provided good video links, I just think he's too wordy with customer replies)
- Points of Contact: 3.5/4 (Cheek weld is very conditional and close to the shoulder, feels weird to call it a proper point of contact so I give it a half-credit)
- Weight: HEAVY (It weighs almost 820 grams altogether for both controllers attached to this hunk of plastic. If you're measuring just the right controller it's 560 grams. If you want to use it for a pistol, that's max immersion sure, but kind of unwieldy otherwise)
- Experience with stock: I got it, spent a solid 2hrs trying to install it initially. The connection points for where the controllers sit in the cradle are a bit of a pain to get set up. Once it fits and you're not stripping the bolts, it'll work but before that first-time snug fit, you're going to shred your thumbs trying to get it to fit. The gun is very weight heavy on the dominant hand. It takes a bit of use to get used to the angles and weight of this chonker of a gunstock. I do appreciate it's transformative design. Just wish it didn't fall short where installation is concerned. It's overall a bit overpriced for what you get. I would pass on this stock personally and go for the Kobra Sidewinder if you have that as an option or better yet the FreedomStock VR if you're stateside or willing to pay extra for rerouting of that package.

FreedomStock VR
- Price Paid: $75 (USA Shipped only, international buyers need to utilize order forwarders i.e. shopandship, stackry, forwardme, myUS, opas, usa2me, shipito, etc... )
- Included accessories: Stock for LEFT and RIGHT controllers (QUEST 2 ONLY). These work to replace your battery cover. Removable shoulder stock. O-rings to extend either retractable tube for extended play. You can pay extra to get a vinyl decal on the controllers
- Stiffness: 7/10 (Designed to move quite a bit, to be clear, this is NOT a nock to the gunstock, but you're still able to shoulder the stock firmly. Play is there for slight adjustments when you need to switch up hand placement for various guns on the fly with minimal adjustment time)
- Ease of Use: 10/10 (Feels very natural to utilize, retraction spring mechanism doesn't require much force to actuate, battery cover replacement method makes installation a breeze, just need to store the OEM battery covers in a safe place after you're done with this stock)
- Customer Support: 10/10 (Cheesy is very receptive to criticism and responds very quickly to issues brought up. I've purchased all of his iterations of the stock and can confirm that he's super helpful when it comes to helping improve his design. The Freedomstock VR is in a good place now and customer support is provided that's leagues out there. End of the day, he's a new seller but still a gamer just like us - Previously, there were issues with zip-ties, no knuckle grips, and brittle problem joints but all of that has been addressed)
- Points of Contact: 3/4 (Hands, and shoulder stock are available - cheek weld isn't necessary after practice)
- Weight: Feels like you're not using a stock at all when you don't need it. Not a concern.
- Experience with stock: For the price point, and for what it is, it's the BEST stock for Ghosts Of Tabor in my opinion. Very modular and lightweight. I've used it for the past month now. When I first saw it on this channel, I had to have one. Since I first received version 1 with the zip-ties, CheesyMcGriddle has upgraded it to include knuckle straps and more sturdy joints. Once you install it to the controllers they are rock solid. I've gotten very comfortable not using a sling, and I'm able to hit long-range shots as well thanks to the added support of the buttstock. Strangely, I've started to remove the stock altogether and use it more with just the 2 points of contact mode in Tabor since I'm normally not needing stability with engagement ranges that are less than 50 meters. It's a must-try before you knock it in my opinion.

Olen VR The Spine Gunstock
$81.99
Bungee Sling: Added $7 to the Price.
- Stiffness: 8/10 (Elaborate: Uses two metal pipes for the main gun and buttstock and attaches those via two 3D printed Pieces that are very well made, there is some flex but very little and hardly noticable.)
- Ease of Use: 7/10 (Elaborate: This Gunstock does take some getting used to so you have to practice a bit with it in order to get down where you need to move your hands in order to connect the magnets but once you get it down, you'll barely have to think about it.)
- Customer Support: 10/10 (Elaborate: Had to get a new pipe for the buttstock because the one sent was to long for my liking, not only was the Customer Service Quick to respond but they were enthusiastic about help and I had a nice little conversation with them about my intended video review (Link that review below.))
- Points of Contact: 3/4 (Hands are 1 & 2, shoulder is 3, cheek is 4)
- Weight: (It's got a decent weight to it allowing you too be immersed in the feel of a real firearm but this can be a detriment if you get the 10" pipe for the buttstock and your arms aren't long enough)
- Experience with stock: (This is a great VR Gunstock for anyone looking for an over the controller type, the main hand magnet is strong enough to hold the gunstock by itself so you can reload easier and the off hand magnet is just strong enough to attach and detach with ease to reload the gun. There are some problems with the length if you get the wrong pipe length for the buttstock (But they'll send you a replacement for it for free if it's not right.) and it's hard to figure out where to put your hands at first. But once you get some practice in with it, it is an overall great gunstock.)

Poor Man's Gripstock
- Price Paid (Include Shipping + Tax + Currency): Free (Home sourced items)
- Included accessories: N/A
- Stiffness: 1/10 (Elaborate: Very flimsy & prone to fall apart if handled roughly)
- Ease of Use: 4/10 (Elaborate: I need to engineer another way to keep it from being "crooked" when not in use with second controller, otherwise it flop about and is in the way a bit. Might try a bit of tape to the inside of the tracking ring to keep it from touching my dominant hand's thumb stick)
- Customer Support: N/A - DIY
- Points of Contact: 2/4 (Hands are 1 & 2)
- Weight: Lightweight
- Experience with stock: It's cheap and easy to use. Great if you're on a shoestring budget and wanting to explore gunstocks before purchasing one that includes a third/fourth point of contact.

Poor Man's Gripstock 2.0 Fail-stock
- Price Paid (Include Shipping + Tax + Currency): Free (Home sourced items)
- Included accessories: N/A
- Stiffness: 3/10 (Elaborate: Used way more tape than my v1, has some more rigidity, but will still flex if handled roughly)
- Ease of Use: 8.5/10 (Elaborate: Stays out of the way & works great as a DIY gunstock with minimal cost for Quest 2 users. This helps steady my aim on the cheap. )
- Customer Support: N/A - DIY
- Points of Contact: 3.5/4 (Hands are 1 & 2, shoulder and potentially cheek if you have a short neck
) - Weight: Lightweight
- Experience with stock: It's
cheap"free" and easy to use. Great if you're on a shoestring budget and wanting to explore gunstock usage in VR games. There's one downside to using as much tape as I did in this build... It sounds very crinkly when you utilize the buttstock and can be a bit distracting. Sounds like a diaper between your controllers. Your mic will probably pick it up and your squamates will think you're eating potato chips or wearing a diaper on your face. I gave it a new name (fail-stock) so it would be referenced in urban legends and on streams in hushed tones. It's definitely more catchy than Poor Man's Gripstock 2.0 and is unisex. - Link to

sewer chugger's take on the poor man's gripstock. the strip of cardboard that attaches the rolled-up-controller-holding-bit to the coat hanger was making my hand cramp because of the way i had to kind of reach over it to grip the controller, solved it by scooching up the holder in front of the tip of the hanger so it's centered rather than offset and trimmed it down a bit. added part of a second coat hanger with a section of mailing tube for the buttstock. looks like a tp roll but it's much sturdier. thanks for the inspirado

Introducing the lego vr stock V1
Features:
Big stock
Underbarrel controller mounts
Super sturdy
Doesnt block access to any of the buttons
Genuine rifle sling
Downsides:
Not ment for my big buff bros, easy fix tho just need a sling bigger then 40 inches
I had to use about 3 years of legos just dumped into a box to make it
The default gun pitch is through the roof, i have to aim high up in pavlov even with the pitch all the way up
Took about 4 hours in all (not long honestly)
Extras:
Im Very proud of myself for making this actually work (and so is my gf thanks for the support my love)
I watched several "i spent a day with" vids including:
Daily dose of internet
Vsauce (my favorite)
Kris Tyson (from MrBeast)
Other videos i watched:
TimelessaVR spends 12 hours straight in GOT
TimelessVR figures out the luty is goated with the swaws
Storm (atsuover song)
A documentary about Bing Soy (TF2)
I would not suggest building this but if your as insane as i am have fun. IM NOT MAKING A TUTORIAL
Make a tutorial
Block by block manual

Mostly in my server. Not a huge fan of the changes being made here tbh
What's not to like?
I am just not a fan of change tbh. I am not sure why.

HYDRA VR Gunstock Quest 2 & Quest 3
- Price Paid: $53.49 (Sale)
- Included accessories: Red two point sling
- Stiffness: 9/10 (Elaborate: Stock is constructed with PLA filament and piping, very sturdy.
- Ease of Use: 7.5/10 (Elaborate: Stock uses a half cup design, overall doesn't take a lot of practice and feels natural to grab. Rating would be higher but some knuckles straps don't fit perfectly. Stock doesn't not come assembled but can be assembled in less than 5 minutes.
- Customer Support: N/A/10
- Points of Contact: 3/4 (Hands are 1 & 2, shoulder is 3, cheek is 4)
- Weight: Fairly light
- Experience with stock: For being cheaper compared to other stocks, I think this is a great stock to have, the sling can be very flimsy and drag the stock of out place but it is very sturdy and does a great job of keeping my hands still when shooting, and when you have to loot you can simply let go of the cups and your back into action. Cups are adjustable.
