From user yook:

  • I just tried the pressure, it works but not when the screw is at an angle, you have to take it out and push in (but not up) pushing it up causes the angle

From user tid

  • Some things I recommend: not sure how long you've have it but pretty sure part of the filament on the inside of the ring expanded just a bit (most likely due to the warmer climate here) which seems to be causing the issue so i recommend leaving in a 65- 70 ish degree room for a few hours.
  • Also if you got it in before seeing my message DO NOT TAKE THE SCREW OUT GIVE IT TIME TO HOLD THE PIECES IN PLACE it will gradually bend them back give it as long as you can.
  • I FINALLY got mine to screw in and then 10 mins of playing, low battery notification on both controllers therefore having to take the screws out and reinstall the controllers in the stock but i gave it as much time as I could took them out and screwed them back in no issue so once they hold to my knowledge they go back easy.
  • I promise you though once you use the stock for a little bit I mean it just makes every game I've used it on so much more enjoyable and immersive, truly I mean that.

  • Try to use some wd40 or other metal lubricant
  • Once you get it working once or twice... you should have the process down easy for the future.

For everyone who has a Skol currently, Stan (the guy who makes this thing) sent an email out earlier today. Check your emails for it, but he's offering a small piece to fix the offhand issue with angles not lining up for Ghosts of Tabor:

So after playing with the new angle adjuster my experience with this stock is much better.
Thanks for posting about this, DonZzzilla.
