Love using ente and having family plan really makes it easy for all of us to share albums and have personal storage.
I'm a bit overcautious and would like to have a local copy of all the photos on my nas just to have. Is there a way to export the photos from all users and and albums.

Yes, it is possible to export your data from Ente Photos to keep a local copy.

To export your photos and videos, sign in to the desktop app, which can be downloaded from https://ente.io/download/desktop. Open the side bar and select the option to Export Data. Choose the destination folder and click Start. More details are available at https://help.ente.io/photos/migration/export#exporting-your-data-out-of-ente-photos.

You can also use Ente's CLI tool to pull data into your NAS, as described at https://github.com/ente-io/ente/tree/main/cli#readme.

If the export size is larger than your backed-up size in Ente, it could be because you have files in multiple albums. During export, these files will be downloaded multiple times to the different folders, even though they only count once towards your total storage in Ente. More details are available at https://help.ente.io/photos/faq/export#why-is-my-export-size-larger-than-my-backed-up-size-in-ente.
