First and foremost I love this service! Apologies for the long feedback!
Photos:
- Is it intended when you click upload for the picture/video to have to go into an album? Selecting "uncategorized" is a little odd and perhaps should just go in the general "All" view?
- I can't see a way on any platform (Android, Web and Desktop) to set Album cover by specific photo in that album?
- Question more than anything, when setting time fix on an item, is it persistent on data export (so if migrating out will it keep the corrected timestamp?)
- Android App, Uploading only allows folder selection (which is easy to use), but is there a way to select specific files in other folders (I don't have the need for this, just curious why you can in web and desktop and not app?)
- Don't shoot me down on this, I can see a grid for the photos which is cool and I know I can change its grid amount, but would be nice to see different size photos slotted in for randomness and highlighting photos (just UI polish, almost like Google Photos). So for a given date and multiple pictures, please see mockup screen attached.
Auth:
- Can't see where to change app icon, like you can in Photos?
- Archive function that isn't showing under "all" would be great, I have some MFAs that I rarely use but need to keep.
- There seems to be inconsistency with Security >Two-Factor, its enabled on Photos and my understanding is its the same login across both apps, but doesn't exist in Auth app? (I would store this in password manager and not the auth app itself for obvious locking out reasons, but I can see passkeys.
Please don't see this as criticism, I truly enjoy both apps and privacy it gives me and I do support the app.
