Hey everyone!

My name is Julien and I run OverwatchGG on Twitter ( http://www.twitter.com/OverwatchGG ).

As I wish to post more Overwatch tips, shortcuts etc. on the channel, I am currently looking for small clips (any video format, 15 seconds maximum) that I would publish on a daily basis, as a GIF.
I would naturally credit any selected content by including the Twitter handle of the creator into the tweet, and eventually any relevant link (Twitch or YouTube channel for example).

Overwatch competitive mode is a fun and complicated mode but suffers from a lot of problems at the moment. Here is an example of such a problem. Picture this: you get into a game and want to play dps. 9-10 people look at everybodys carrier profiles before they pick their hero. Everybody picks their hero and you end up with tripple dps setup. What usually happens next is that people ask if they can switch up the team composition since tripple dps is not always as effective as maybe a 2-2-2 setup. Someone may ask you to play a tank hero because thats what the team needs and you have a lot of hours on tank heroes, but you wanted to play dps. You can now decide to play dps anyway and probably create arguing and toxicity or switch to a tank hero to help out the team and to decrease the tensions in the team. If you introduce a role selection mode this will put an end to this problem and many more. Here are a few positives role selection will offer: -It will decrease toxicity since people can play the role they want. So no longer will people pick troll picks because they cannot play the role they want. -There will be less smurfs because most of the people that make a smurf do it to play a certain role. And if they are able to just select their role then they do not have to create and use a smurf. Now there will be at least one downside that I know of if Blizzard introduces this, it will increase que times. Not every role is as populated, some roles are more popular then other therefore the que times will at be longer. However keeping all of this in mind the positives will outweigh the negatives. The que times will increase but being able to play your role every single time makes the waiting worth it. No longer will games be thrown in spawn because you cannot get the team composition you want. No longer will people pick troll picks because they cannot play dps/tank/support. The amount of smurfs and toxicity will decrease through this change as well.

Option for Selective Point Capture (A Custom Game Idea) - Overwatch Forums

The idea may seem hard to think from the title, but here's what it basically is. You have the option to disable or enable certain points you choose to capture or push the payload. This option will work on Assault and Hybrid maps only. Here's two examples. EX. 1 (Assault) For example, let's say you want to play Hanamura but you only want to capture one point, not both points. You start to capture point B and point B only. You start in the second attacker's spawn in countdown to capture only one point. And the defenders only stay at point B to stop the attackers. EX.2 (Hybrid) Second example. Let's say you want to want to push the payload only in Numbani. You're not capping the point first, you're just starting by pushing the payload like a normal payload map should. Because of that, you had the option to disable the capture point and only push point. And vise versa. (this third example has nothing to do with the topic, but i just had this idea while i was in the middle of typing lol) EX.3 (Hybrid, Payload and maybe Assault) Reverse the rules. For example, in Eichenwalde, you push the payload from the end to the start and cap the point at the end. So basically a reverse hybrid. Same sort of ruleset for payload maps. Just push from end to start. As for assault, I'm not exactly sure how it can work when you capture point B when it's clearly close to spawn (maybe give defenders faster spawn advantage idk), but basically overall, reverse the rules for those modes. That's all! Just had this idea in my head that I wanted to share for the future of Overwatch. I hope Papa Jeff (or any of the devs) see this idea to make a reality. Spread the word! :D -spin
