Meta's will absolutely get stagnant to the point of being unbearable in high level Overwatch. 4 years of history has shown that. So, I'm fine with this. Yes, teams will get screwed by the hero pools to a degree, but over multiple games, the most flexible teams will pull ahead. And once the mid-season invitational tournament and end of season playoffs come around, everything is available again. No excuses.
