I disagree. The viewers are going to be less than standard at first because at least 50% have to adapt. I don't mind YouTube at all. Important is having a high bitrate and quality. Did you know Twitch could have had more viewers but people chose other sources because they had higher quality?

Right now, we are waiting for more information about this deal. We don't know if they're going to have a command center like Twitch, but they have the capability to implement it to a greater standard with better 'POV' quality without (I hope) a lot less stuttering because of Googles' optimized servers. It's a great investment.

YouTube has many features that Twitch doesn't have, as in their VOD feature while livestreaming to watch what you have missed without having to wait for the VOD to be uploaded. Even though the viewers are counted differently, when you see that an Overwatch League video VOD has 1+ million views, that's when you are going to realise that the fanbase is higher than you've thought.

People need to stop whining and stop acting like their opinions are facts when they don't know how business works. This won't stop them to watch the owl. I can only understand why twitch chat emotes is needed and such... (you can install an extension).

Personally, I want to know if there will be a separate chat because I enjoyed the all access chat: a silent, calm and relaxing environment with actual conversations instead of hyper active spamming of emotes.

About the tokens, we will have them, but not now. If you've read the articles that were published so far, and think... This new deal needs new technology from Google to implement, and I know for sure that they can improve their streaming services, as in to connect their servers with Overwatch so that tokens are being given. Have patience and let them work on what they have to work.

I wasn’t whining, merely stating that a lot of people watched purely for the tokens. I personally couldn’t care less whether it was streamed on twitch or on youtube, but the overwhelming sentiment towards this change seems to be negative from my perspective.
