I do remember sideshow/monte/avast (I believe sideshow) mentioned that there was something on the finals but he wanted to ask before giving us the information. and indeed than it was on comms check. but I do think some information can be hold private for some cases. for example what if they say "im happy they swapped off sombra" and than suddenly everyone uses sombra against this team because they know information they should not know.
