Cause bap timing of his immortality field is damn important. He has to toss it in the air at where his team will be as sombra emp so that when it hits the ground it’s not affected. The timing requirement of that is insane. Ana kinda is used as a sombra counter in a goats vs sombra goats due to the lack of a dva

That is a problem. Baptiste is a very stationary hero and has vertical mobility but not much else. Ana has no vertical mobility but has arguably the most impactful and best CC cooldown in the game. And at the pro scene, he’s not effectively run against a regular goats comp. rascal tried it for shock but they typically go back to regular goats most of the time. Plus you have to think about who he replaces in a goats set up or regular set up. If you replace zen for baptiste your team is effectively rolled by a sombra now because the only defensive ult you have is Lucio who is now useless and immortality can buy some time, it will be easily focused down. If you run him on a 2/2/2 set up, it would typically be bunker where another sombra comp would get lots of value because of how close you typically play together.

They're not randomly running him on Rialto, etc. They pick his strongest maps and run him there because its a fair trade off with the Brig because she might have inspire uptime issues, etc.
