On high tier teams you still have a designated shot caller but as the person earlier said

If zarya is calling for a fight and you can take a fight you call it, even if she's not the primary caller

It's not something that you do often. You don't have 6 people calling when to take a fight at 6 different times

The Bunker comps that people are talking about won't work in OWL versus Shock and Vancouver. Will work mediocre against NYXL/London/Shanghai. Will work against everyone else.

Mostly because the teams that would need to run the bunker comp don't have the talent/skill/teamwork to run the better comp.

So they'll still be beaten by the thing they can't do.

Work cohesively like a team.

#

Shock and Vancouver don't run just goats because its all they can play. They run it because 14-15 teams in the league don't play it well enough to even be a challenge, so why change it up?

#

At this point I firmly believe that Angry Titans and British Hurricane would give Shock/Vancouver more of a challenge than half of the "OWL" teams.

Meh, the issue of whether they're mass-produced or not really has no bearing on quality these days. Digital printing has been a thing for 10 years now, so it's not like the old days where you'd only bother having high-quality templates for mass-produced items. The overhead for single-unit runs is minimal in this day and age.

If you have all academy teams in T2 it kinda fucks up the path to pro

Like contenders trials wouldn't exist cause it would be pointless because if you have all academy teams you're keeping them all in contenders

So instead of having a clear route from top OD -> Trials -> unsigned T2 and then getting recognized for academy there

You would have to get recognized for a academy in OD

Which is a massively disgusting gigantic leap in skill which VERY VERY VERY rarely if ever happens

You could try to have more academy teams without having all academy teams especially in NA where there's 2 regions so there's so many slots but if it gets to that point where every team is academy then t2 either has to be reworked or it's fucked

I think people forget this is a -very very- new organization thats still learning a lot of stuff. It's not an established group at all.

So it makes sense (to me) that if it looks like you're stretching too thin or running the academy wrong out of inexperience you'd pull out and focus on other things.
