So I just saw the podium photos for the Enduro World Series round held last weekend in Tasmania - where they have great big novelty cheques printed for the top 3, to the tune of AUD1,000, 600 and 400. This is supposed to be a top-teir professional sport, and they're paying the winner in the elite categories a pitiful $1,000.

If I had a team in contenders in NA, EU, KR or CN, I would earn an absolute minimum of $1320 per week just for showing up and competing in Overwatch Contenders - and over $2k if you won all 4 maps. What a joke prizemoney in cycling is.
