To sum up my take because i gtg now: Dallas winning was more because of the lack of boombox than their own play. Fusion looked unorganized and like they didnt know what to do. They wasted their ult economy because of the lack of boombox's shotcalling. They honestly looked worse than shanghai last season. Dallas played better than against charge, obviously, but not amazing. Philly could still keep up and even won a map. If boombox wasnt sick (F for boombox ;-;) then philly would be 4-0 on the standings.

As stage 2 is set to start at the beginning of April, [Fusions] (and other two-way players with two played matches) will have to wait until then to be able to compete in the Overwatch League again. 

According to the statement, two-way players are indeed barred from playing for the entirety of stage 1, not just till the beginning of March when Contenders NA starts up again. Bosworth and the Uprising had to sign the British main tank to a standard Overwatch League contract which may circumvent the above-mentioned restrictions.

So what were the org doing, did they not follow procedure and decide it was easier to get more playtime assuming stage 1 excludes him from the two game limit?

I would have thought the same thing out of desperation tbh

or just treat gamsu better and let him off in a dramatic mid stage 1 announcement instead

@sullen berry My best guess is that Boston / Philly were not disseminated the information properly. Because other organizations, according to Benchmob, were aware of the rule and you can see that Apply was aware of the rule.

I'd assume Boston got the Gamsu trade last minute, took it, then realized with Colourhex benched they couldn't actually play in OWL because they'd only signed 6 people and a 2 way player.

So they moved him up out of psuedo-desperation and very quickly (2 days prior to the season starting) and weren't thinking about much else.

basically, you go through every game of the week and pick the team that is most likely gonna win right

then when youre done with that, you go over it again

but this time you randomly pick one game per day and flip the results. Its worked wonders for me so far.
