Because stats have never been that high in demand on a scale that would garnish attention except for analysts and coaches, who have something different.
Most of the time, you hear 'stats are worthless, they don't help', hell you can hear it here as well. Improvements overall are not valued except in the esports scene where they define your carrier capabilities.
For contenders and etc, those stats can define their ability to perform at the highest level, but even then, it's usually done by coaches and their team of reviewers.. Which is sad.
