If you're looking for open division teams to join, your sr rank could help persuade them. You don't need a comp rank to enter open division tournaments, I believe. If you do good in open division with your team, you can join contenders. If you're great at contenders, you might be able to join a professional team in the Overwatch League.

It's both a buff, and a nerf.
Junkrat had his projectiles size decreased by 33%, and had tire speed reduced.
On their own both nerfs are fine, together they're crazy impactful.
What I don't think Blizzard is properly accounting for is how much the 33% nerf to projectile size already affects his tire.

I tested it around for about an hour or two last night on PTR.
I'm accurate enough I could still land many shots, but many of the bounces I used to catch didn't. That was fine, and balanced.
It led to slower build up of tires, and I understood what Blizzard was going for.
But the tire itself.
It's so slow now that a bronze could kill it.
The two combined are a bit of overkill.
And they also didn't fix the main issue of the tire, which wasn't its speed - in my opinion
It's the tires ability, midair, to change directions on a dime.

Lot of situations where Junk won't be as impactful, so you'll almost want to go back to Dive.
