And teams will be scouting for people not just in their teams because of age restrictions (I.E. Zerg is on the Philly team, but he's what.. 15? Which means he's got years of playing before he'd be eligible for OWL.) It gives a lot more heads up information to the contenders league, and for the new teams that will be coming in Season 2 (which Blizzard said there were a few) a good prospect look for picks up as Season 1 taught that it was a good idea to buy entire pre-formed teams over amalgamating strangers.

So if I was forming up a Chicago team and I found a contenders team that was routinely beating the Philly Uni team, I'd consider that a pretty strong potential pick up.
