I'm saying we haven't solved the meta because it's a silly thing to think with the age of the game as a whole and the latest round of balance changes. The fact we're getting little variations here and there at the pro level lends itself to that. It'll be nice when players in general -- both in matchmaking and at the pro level -- let go of that "we have to run <current popular meta> or you're throwing" mentality.

so unless we have a D.va level of patch changes

the meta is roughly going to stay the same for at least another month or two before any changes can take place

example: Pharmercy

Pharah and Mercy got some buffs and tweaks before

but only this patch that we really see her in play

and between their buffs and tweaks, it usually has been at least 2 months before it

right now the meta are pretty solidify across all region. Either 2/2/2 with D.va/Winston as main tank with some variations on DPS or triple DPS

just because a team ran Mei or Sombra as a deliberate strats doesn't mean that the meta is "unsolved"

the meta is not "unsolved" when at least 3 of the mains picks are solidified
