In my opinion "how well you play with the 5 other people on your team" in terms of coordination and team plays is a big part of whether or not you are a good player, pros usually have better team play which is why I personally would consider them on a higher tier to solo ladder players.

I personally think coordination is kind of overrated in the ladder play
most of the general "how to climb" guide flying around usually talks about coordination, positioning, etc etc but then a guy with average game sense can strap a rocket to himself and get to GM just by clicking on heads
coordination can only be train in a scrimmage situation I think. On ladder the amount of coordination is fairly minimal

Statistically number of players in the ladder is way higher than number of pros and even if we took it by lets say number of players that play 5+ hours a day with 4000+ rank I would say that there is high chance that the best player in the world could be just random ladder guy and that ofc by ignoring natural talents so maybe the best guy doesn't even need to play that much or couldn't care about rank but point is I feel like chances that the best player to be just a guy in the scene is higher than the pro scene and that ofc if we just said that the system is perfect and there is no hackers in ladder or in the pro scene.
