But granted the human cybernetics, I honestly think it could be possible for there to be an Omnic that was designed to look like a human

Okay the reason why certain games have that type of flavor text is because those are worlds in which those drops and weapons make sense. Dark souls make sense cause you take whatever you need in whateve cache you find cause it makes sense for it to be there; In Breathe of the wild it makes sense cause the items are their for both story/and gameplay. In overwatch2, it makes no sense for people to just lay turrets everywhere

Because the lore more juicy bits then becomes inaccessible for players who are not as good. Storm Rising on it's hardest difficulty with the heroes provided at the GM level is extremely difficult and I don't recall a team being able to do that. If anything I'd prefer just the exp gained at harder difficulty to go up to go longer in the unlocking of abilities

we know null sector are pretty much definitely lead by predator, which is at least having some kind of alliance to Doomfist
Also given the meeting between doomfist and predator is in secrecy, there is no indication the talon council know about this even.
and as such, not sure if the entire talon supports such plans.
but that having said, yes it is likely at least one omnium supports the null sector movement, since such large scale production of stuff would require a huge production facility.
that said support is a really loose term, as they might just be selling weaponary and equipment to null sector, or at least trade them for other resources
we know SOME omnium at least are friendly to humans and are much less likely to be involved in such actions, and some are definitely hostile.

also problem with a melee class in a modern setting is really effy, really unless you are like anime fan type melee is not that practical.
gameplay wise it is fun if you are into that, but melee character to be fun and makes sense lore wise takes a bit of effort.

another choise that is not in ow yet for a melee would be something like a lancer/spear guy where you charge in and out wih mobility, doing burst at a more pin point way and go out.
